Making a safety cover is very different from making a standard tarp. The fabric has to be cut and sewn precisely so it fits your pool and stays tight where it matters. Our team has spent over a decade working with pool cover and mesh materials, and that experience shows in the stitching, the strap placement, and the fit.

The Materials We Use

• Mesh fabric: 165 gsm (about 5 oz/yd²) polypropylene mesh
• Shade rate: 95%. The tight weave blocks most sunlight, which helps limit algae growth under the cover over the off-season.
• Drainage: the mesh lets rain and melting snow pass through, so water doesn’t pool on top of the cover.
• Colors: Green
• Straps and thread: Heavy-duty polypropylene webbing, sewn with UV-resistant polyester thread. Strap points and perimeter edges are reinforced with extra stitching where the load is highest.
• Anchors and hardware: Corrosion-resistant solid brass anchors that sit flush with the deck when the cover is removed, paired with stainless-steel springs for a tight, even fit.
