10-Year Limited Warranty | Pool Safety Covers - Enchya

Effective Date: August 2026

Coverage Period: 10 Years from the Original Purchase Date

Enchya warrants the original purchaser that the Enchya Safety Cover will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for ten (10) years from the original purchase date, subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty.

This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing and material defects only.

Accidental damage and other eligible physical damage may be covered separately under the optional Enchya Protection Plan, if purchased.

1. What This Warranty Covers

This Limited Warranty covers defects directly attributable to materials or workmanship during the manufacturing process, including:

  • Defective cover material attributable to a manufacturing defect
  • Defective stitching or sewn seams
  • Manufacturing defects in webbing or reinforcement
  • Defective components resulting from manufacturing or material defects
  • Other defects directly attributable to the manufacturing process

If Enchya determines that a claimed issue is a covered manufacturing or material defect, Enchya will determine the appropriate warranty remedy based on the nature and severity of the defect.

2. Limited Warranty Period and Pro-Rated Coverage

This Limited Warranty remains valid for ten (10) years from the original purchase date.

Warranty benefits may be subject to the following pro-rated coverage structure:

Age of Cover Enchya Coverage Customer Responsibility
Year 1–3 100% 0%
Year 4 70% 30%
Year 5 60% 40%
Year 6 50% 50%
Year 7 40% 60%
Year 8 30% 70%
Year 9 20% 80%
Year 10 10% 90%

For an approved claim subject to pro-rated coverage, the applicable percentage will be determined based on the age of the Safety Cover at the time the warranty remedy is approved.

The pro-rated percentage applies to the applicable warranty remedy as determined by Enchya and does not constitute a guaranteed cash payment.

Enchya reserves the right to determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with these warranty terms and applicable law.

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing and material defects only.

It does not cover damage, deterioration, or failure resulting from causes outside the manufacturing process, including but not limited to:

  • Accidental tears or punctures
  • Accidental physical damage
  • Damage caused by falling objects
  • Damage caused by branches, leaves, debris, or other objects
  • Damage caused by pets, animals, rodents, or wildlife
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, or intentional acts
  • Damage caused by improper installation
  • Damage caused by failure to follow Enchya installation instructions
  • Damage caused by improper maintenance or handling
  • Damage caused by dragging the cover over abrasive surfaces
  • Damage caused by rough, sharp, unfinished, or unprotected pool coping or decking
  • Damage caused by placing unauthorized objects or excessive weight on the cover
  • Damage caused by improper storage
  • Damage caused by fire, sparks, grills, fireworks, excessive heat, burning, or melting
  • Damage caused by pool chemicals or improper chemical exposure
  • Damage caused by unauthorized modification, alteration, or repair
  • Damage resulting from commercial or non-residential use unless expressly approved by Enchya
  • Damage resulting from extreme weather or catastrophic environmental conditions
  • Damage caused by hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, hail, severe storms, or other natural disasters

Eligible accidental or physical damage may be covered separately under an Enchya Protection Plan if such a plan was purchased and the damage qualifies under its terms.

4. Normal Wear, Aging, and Appearance

This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and deterioration that naturally occur through ordinary use and environmental exposure.

The following are not considered manufacturing defects unless directly attributable to a confirmed manufacturing defect:

  • Normal fading
  • Normal discoloration
  • Normal aging of materials
  • Minor surface wear
  • Normal deterioration caused by sunlight and ordinary environmental exposure
  • Cosmetic changes that do not materially affect the product's intended function

A change in appearance alone does not constitute a warranty defect.

5. Proper Installation, Use, and Maintenance

The Safety Cover must be properly installed, used, maintained, and stored according to Enchya's applicable instructions.

The owner should regularly inspect the Safety Cover for signs of damage or deterioration, including:

  • Broken or missing stitching
  • Damaged seams
  • Frayed webbing
  • Damaged reinforcement areas
  • Material deterioration
  • Damaged hardware
  • Other conditions that may affect the product's intended function

If significant damage or deterioration is discovered, discontinue use of the cover as a safety cover and contact Enchya Customer Support.

Failure to properly install, use, maintain, or store the Safety Cover may affect warranty coverage to the extent that such failure caused or contributed to the claimed defect or damage.

6. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim, the original purchaser should contact Enchya Customer Support and provide:

  1. Original order number or other valid proof of purchase
  2. Date of purchase
  3. Customer name and contact information
  4. Description of the suspected manufacturing or material defect
  5. Clear photographs showing the suspected defect
  6. Photographs of the overall cover and installation area when reasonably requested

Enchya may request additional photographs, videos, installation information, or other documentation.

Enchya may also request that the product or affected component be returned for inspection when reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

Customers should contact Enchya and document the issue before attempting repairs, modifying the product, or disposing of the product.

7. Warranty Claim Assessment

All warranty claims are subject to review and approval by Enchya.

Enchya will determine whether the reported issue is a covered manufacturing or material defect.

The assessment may consider:

  • Type of defect
  • Severity of the defect
  • Age and condition of the product
  • Installation and use conditions
  • Maintenance and storage conditions
  • Whether the issue is attributable to manufacturing or materials
  • Availability of repair or replacement components
  • Applicable warranty coverage

Enchya may request additional information or inspection when reasonably necessary.

8. Repair or Replacement

For an approved warranty claim, Enchya may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the affected area;
  • Replace a component affected by a covered defect;
  • Replace the product when the defect cannot reasonably be repaired or otherwise resolved; or
  • Provide another appropriate remedy consistent with the applicable warranty coverage.

A warranty claim does not automatically entitle the customer to a brand-new replacement product.

A repaired or replacement product does not restart the original ten-year warranty period. The remaining warranty period continues from the original purchase date.

9. Shipping, Labor, and Installation Costs

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or specifically agreed to by Enchya, the Limited Warranty does not cover costs associated with installation, removal, service, or transportation of the Safety Cover.

Customers are responsible for:

  • Removal of the existing Safety Cover
  • Installation or reinstallation
  • Labor costs
  • Pool service costs
  • Third-party service costs
  • Storage costs
  • Costs associated with transporting or returning the Safety Cover or affected components to Enchya for inspection or warranty service
  • Shipping or transportation costs for replacement products or components
  • Other incidental or related expenses

For an approved warranty claim, Enchya is not responsible for shipping or transportation costs unless Enchya specifically agrees otherwise in writing or applicable law requires otherwise.

Any shipping or transportation arrangement offered by Enchya as part of a warranty resolution will be handled according to the specific terms communicated to the customer for that claim.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the Safety Cover is properly packaged and protected when a return is required. Enchya is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging during customer-arranged transportation or return shipment.

Nothing in this section is intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

10. Original Purchaser and Transferability

This Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the Enchya Safety Cover.

The warranty is not transferable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Proof of purchase may be required to establish warranty eligibility and the original warranty start date.

11. Warranty Registration

Warranty registration is not required to receive coverage under this Limited Warranty.

Customers are encouraged to retain their original order confirmation, receipt, and product information for the duration of the warranty period.

Registering your Safety Cover may help Enchya maintain product information and may make future warranty service easier.

Failure to register the product does not void or reduce otherwise applicable warranty coverage.
